Max stops chewing. He looks at Denis for a long beat. The hum of the lights seems louder. He owns the zip code? DENIS Yes!
Open it. Tell me if the address is the pier or the warehouse. Because if it’s the pier, I’m ordering coffee. If it’s the warehouse, we leave now. Denis tears it open. His face goes pale. DENIS It’s... it’s neither. MAX Then what is it? DENIS It’s a receipt. For a dry cleaner. scenarii kriminalnaja chtiva
It’s a person, Max! A very expensive, very angry person. And he’s probably running out of oxygen, which—by the way—is a logistical nightmare. Max stops chewing
(Slams his hand on the table)The fries are frozen in the middle! And the guy in the trunk is the son of the man who owns this entire zip code! He owns the zip code
Much like Pulp Fiction , you could follow three different groups of people in the same city whose lives intersect through a single lost item (like that dry cleaning receipt).
The entire "crime" happens off-screen. The story focuses entirely on the surreal conversations between the henchmen as they try to solve an impossible problem.
