A Jedi’s training begins with the mind. The Jedi Code serves as the philosophical anchor for every action: There is no emotion, there is no peace. There is no ignorance, there is no knowledge. There is no passion, there is no serenity. There is no chaos, there is no harmony. There is no death, there is no the Force.

This is not a denial of feeling, but a directive on how to process it. A Jedi acknowledges their fear, anger, or love, but they do not allow these emotions to drive their decision-making.
