Post — Edit

Caption text, photos, audience privacy, and check-in locations.

If you need to update a shared post, edit the original post on your profile to update all shared versions. Instagram Method: Go to post > Three dots (...) > Edit .

Choose "Edit Post" from the dropdown menu.

Post text, images (sometimes), and hashtags. Reddit Method: Click three dots (...) > Edit Post . What you can change: The body text of text-based posts. Note: You cannot edit the title of a post. Meta Business Suite (Facebook & Instagram) Method: Content tab > Select Post > Edit Post .

Click or tap the three-dot icon (...) located at the top right corner of the post.

You cannot change the photo or video once it is posted. LinkedIn Method: Find post > Three dots (...) > Edit post .

Changes are applied immediately after clicking "Save". WordPress (Classic & Block Editor)
