Set around 50 B.C., the story follows (Jackie Chan), the leader of the Silk Road Protection Squad, who is framed for corruption and sent to rebuild the remote Wild Geese Gate. There, he encounters General Lucius (John Cusack) and a legion of Roman soldiers fleeing the villainous Tiberius (Adrien Brody).
