Leo clicked the escape key. Nothing happened. He tried to force quit the player, but his mouse cursor wouldn't move. He reached for the power button, but stopped when a sound leaked out of his headphones.
On the screen, the characters had stopped moving. They weren't acting anymore. They were all standing in a circle, staring directly out of the screen, looking straight at Leo. Their eyes were completely black, dilated to the edges of their eyelids. Leo clicked the escape key
