Jax leaned back, his chair creaking. In the corner of his screen, his old clan chat—once a roaring fire of strategy and banter—sat cold. Only one other username was green: SteelLimb88 . "You finding it?" the message popped up.
Jax looked back at the screen. The three wireframe figures weren't moving, but the chat box at the bottom of the game was scrolling at light speed. It wasn't strategy. It was code. Lines of directory paths from Jax’s own C-drive were appearing in the game's font.
