In this modern comedy, the story follows , a former flight attendant and the widow of Stelios, who was the president of a middle-tier Greek football team called the "Black Panthers" .

If the file is the older classic, the plot centers on —a penniless barber, an unemployed man, and a suave manager—who inherit 24% shares of their late uncle's high-fashion house.

After Stelios dies suddenly, Vera discovers a bizarre clause in his will: to keep her massive inheritance, she must take over as President of the football team and ensure they stay in the First Division.

If the team is relegated, the entire fortune is donated to charity, leaving her and her two children with nothing. Alternative: Oi klironomoi (1964)
